Defect of the Character: A recent pattern of social isolation has made it difficult for William to integrate into society. Self pity also leaves him in rut that causes him to reject new relationships if they don't immediately hit it off. While he enjoys going solo, he often gets himself into risky situations that someone else would advise against.

Aspirations: Hunt down and exact revenge against those that murdered his friends

Background story:
I haven't known much else but these islands and dealing with Rads. My name is William Marsh, but you can call me 'Dubya' like my friends used to. I'm currently living on this nice secluded beach on the north side of Kaua'i. It's really a lovely spot, if you don't mind the sun and giant crabs chasing you in the water. I've built a shack from palm trees around here and stuffed a bed with the feathers of the massive pelicans that fly around here. I haven't always been here though.

I used to run with a few friends, we called ourselves 'The Watch'. We liked to wander around Oahu, helping out small villages and clearing out raider camps if they ever pop up nearby. Things are much different now. One night we made camp and settled down after scaring some young raiders back home. Little did we know, the Enclave had just set up a training site nearby to where they were. I was out looking for a water source when I heard the gunshots ring out.

I ran back toward camp, but there was no hope of intervention. My buddies were slaughtered, slumped around the campfire while their weapons were unloaded in their tents. I took off back in the direction I came. I followed the river until I made it to the ocean and talked my way onto a fishing boat. I haven't looked back since I came to the island, until now.

I've been receiving distress signals on my old radio, could it be my old friends? The only way to find out is to head back to Oahu and find out what really happened...

Look good imo! But Overseer has to accept it until we get more situated.Tho Aspiration seems not that attainable kinda hard to take out all the Enclave. Instead of "Take down the Enclave" Why not Take out the squad that killed your friends? Sorta a quest to search for clues to what squad did it then gather a crew and resources to stop them?

That sounds awesome! Yeah I was pretty tired so I guess 'Take down the Enclave' seemed like a good idea early in the morning lol. Maybe there's a (currently) nameless Enclave officer that leads the group and is notoriously bloodthirsty? Idk, I'm just excited to get started

I understand that your character doesn't like to get close to people because he is afraid of loss once more, like his old friends in The Watch, but I would like to hear more of his defects. His true fears that affect the very core of his personality, and subsequently, his interactions with others as a result.

I'll be removing the extra character sheet and keeping things simple here. That ended up confusing me!

Your S.P.E.C.I.A.L points add up to 42. Subtract two points from your stats there and you'll be golden on that front.

I like what you did with your defect, not bad. I recommend putting a little more information on your psychical description, but beyond that, that is okay. A lot of us can work with that.

You're almost there! I just need you to make one final decision.

A scoped assault rifle is too strong to start out with. You can either choose a pistol or a knife for your second weapon, OR you can keep the assault rifle but it will be broken, you'll have no ammo for it, and I'll take away the scope.

Aside from that, you can't have a bathing suit to casually swim. You're a human and all water sources anywhere are irradiated.

When you choose from the above options, you're good to go.

  • Main Weapon: A worn Snub Revolverthat is in pretty good condition, but with some scratching on the metal.
  • Secondary Weapon: A Primitive Knife. You fastened it on your home island of Oahu. It was a trusty weapon during your time on "The Watch", but has become rather worn in its later years and is now in average condition.
  • Helmet: Tilly Hat
  • Mask: Black Bandana
  • Goggles: Small, round, tinted goggles
  • Clothes: A dirty white shirt, some worn khaki jeans with frays at the bottom of the legs, and brown boots that have definitely seen better days.
  • Armor: Some leather armor that seems to be made from scraps, but it does the job.
  • Backpack: A small, black backpack that you have patched up many times
  • Item 1: 8 rounds of .44 ammo for your revolver
  • Item 2: Nothing
  • Item 3: Nothing
  • Item 4: Nothing
  • First Accessory: A Lighter - This small lighter can be used to illuminate a small area and to set fire to dynamite or anything that it’s flammable enough.
  • Second Accessory:

+22 to Unarmed or melee attack dice rolls

+26 to ranged attack dice rolls

+15 to rolls involving dodging or doing agility feats

+15 to rolls involving cooking in a fireplace, hiding from & taming creatures, searching for drinkable water/food.


Armor Bonuses:
• Protection against melee and unarmed weapons: 5 points of damage.
• Protection against ballistic weapons: Nothing.
• Protection against energy weapons: Nothing.
• Protection against explosives: Nothing.
• Grants: +5 to all attack dice rolls.
