Possible Mutations Empty
PostSubject: Possible Mutations   Possible Mutations EmptyThu Oct 12 2017, 00:11

Due to all the background radiation and many other mutagens and toxicity present on pretty much all food and water sources many creatures might mutate further than their peers. Sometimes this mutations might be beneficial for them but in a few occasions it might make them weaker. Fighting mutated creatures might give you a bonus or penalty on the received experience. Here are the possible mutations.

  • Gigantism: The creature's weight, dimensions and damage is multiplied by 2. Defeating it grants +100% EXP.
  • Dwarfism: The creature's weight, dimensions and damage are halved by 2. Defeating it grants -50% EXP.
  • Radioactive: All of this creature's attacks will grant Radiation points. Defeating it grants +20% EXP.
  • Vampire: All of this creature's attacks will steal Health Points. The creature will regain 50% of the inflicted damage in the form of health. Defeating it grants +50% EXP.
  • Dream-Eater: This creature's touch can inflict amnesia and memory loss so all of this creature's attacks will steal Experience Points. The creature will regain 50% of the inflicted damage in the form of health. Defeating it grants +50% EXP.
  • Incendiary: This creature is surrounded by fire yet unaffected by it. Pyro weapons won't damage it but regenerate its health. All of its critical attacks will cause fire damages. Defeating it grants +25% EXP.
  • Freezing: This creature is specially cold yet seems unaffected by it. Cryo weapons won't damage it but regenerate its health. All of its critical attacks will cause freezing. Defeating it grants +25% EXP.
  • Electrified: This creature is a living conduit of electricity yet seems unaffected by it. Tesla weapons won't damage it but regenerate its health. All of its critical attacks will cause electrical paralysis. Defeating it grants +25% EXP.
  • Acidic: This creature is filled with gastric acid yet seems unaffected by it. Acid weapons won't damage it but regenerate its health. All of its critical attacks will cause freezing. Defeating it grants +25% EXP.
  • Chameleonic: The creature is completely invisible as long as it is quiet and completely still. Not even VATS systems can aim at it in this invisible state. Defeating it grants +75% EXP.
  • Anomalous: Something strange, something inexplicable has mutated this creature's DNA beyond recognition. Each two turns it will switch Mutations. Defeating it grants. Defeating it grants +200% EXP.
  • Regenerative: This creature is able to regenerate 5% of their Health Points during each of his turns. Defeating it grants +100% EXP.

Some creatures will have some mutations by default. Glowing One Ghouls are all Radioactive for example.

Mutations can also stack up, when this happen the Experience bonuses are also stacked, making simple enemies challenging and dangerous. A simple Radroach is no match to even Level 1 characters, a Gigantic Radioactive Dream-Eater Incendiary Freezing Electrified Acidic Chameleonic Anomalous and Regenerative Radroach might be hard to kill even to +50 Level characters. Radroaches by default give 20 EXP, such a creature would give a 745% Experience bonus for a total of 149 EXP points.
