You approach a dusty old bulletin board. On it, dozens of job offers and gigs are posted, but one singular offer catches your eye...

A small note, with rough, almost desperate handwriting is hanging on the board, nearly hidden by the other more prominent offers.

"I need someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. Someone who isn't afraid of the law. Someone high up in the Ohana food chain needs to pay. 100 caps, up front. Ask for Thomas Salyer, in the slums of New Honolulu. Make sure you aren't followed."

You make a mental note of the name and think about the job.

Will you take it?

Opper skimmed through the job postings. Normally he wouldn't risk an excursion into a public establishment, but the authorities wouldn't bother coming to a merc joint and the patrons didn't ask many questions. He had just cleaned up his raider garb as well, just enough to let him fit in with the other hit-men and adrenaline junkies.

Assassinations weren't exactly his forte, but a hundred caps was nothing to scoff at. Up front no less, surely with more after the head of whoever Salyer wanted dead was given to him. The other offers were barely worth the time, or wouldn't pay anyone who smelled like a raider.

So, he set out into the seedier parts of New Honolulu, looking for one Thomas Salyer.
