Fallout Nukaloha's Rules Empty
PostSubject: Fallout Nukaloha's Rules   Fallout Nukaloha's Rules EmptyMon Sep 18 2017, 00:54

To start playing in this forum you need to read and confirm your agreement on the rules. These rules are obligatory to read and follow. They will apply to everybody, regardless of their range. Below is detailed the entire list of rules.

RESPECT IS VITAL:
Your character can degrade, insult and humiliate other characters as much as you want. But when it comes to talking to the people behind these characters you have to be nice and show respect. We are here to have fun, not to fight.

MESSAGES THAT ARE VIOLENT, RACIST OR ILLEGAL IN NATURE ARE FORBIDDEN:
In the Forum you can be as racist and violent that you want, but always in character and never when it comes to speaking to the people behind the characters.

MODS HAVE ABSOLUTE POWER:
Anybody who obtains the range of Moderator will be able to get inside any thread and intervene as it sees fit with things that are out of the control of players like random encounters, weather changes or the sudden appearance of enemies. Moderators will NEVER have control over a player character, albeit they can freely control non-player characters like merchants. Moderators might be cruel and make things hard for you, but they will never bully and be unjust against players.

EVERYBODY WILL HAVE VOICE:
If at any time you feel like you have been unjustly treated then you are free to contact the moderators, who will intervene and act accordingly. We are here to make your experience with the roleplaying game be as good and pleasurable as possible.

WRITE LIKE HUMAN BEINGS:
To make reading as easiest as possible one needs to write as properly as possible. Each answer has to have at least two paragraphs. You have to write in Third Person, unless you are doing a solitary roleplay in which then the use of first person is allowed. Some spelling mistakes can be pardoned but everything has a limit. If a character has a particular way of speaking then spelling mistakes can be made to better describe the speech. Smilies and Spelling Mistakes can can only be used in the Introduction Category, Chatbox and in Off-Topic commentaries.

ABUSING PLAYERS WILL BE BANNED:
If two players fight while roleplaying and one of two defeats the other in a humiliating manner then nothing happens. But if this player defeats the other repeatedly then it will be considered abuse.

NO SPAM:
Anybody who attempts to spam the others will be banned.

RESPECT THE TURNS:
When roleplaying a Quest you can write whenever you want, there aren't established turns. Things change when a combat situation happens. In that moment each player will have to do a 1d100 dice roll and add +5 for each of their AGL points. The Moderator will also do this for each of the enemies. The ones who get higher score will start first, in case two get the same result then the ones who initiate the attack will have preference. If a player doesn't answers in 48 hours then it will be considered as if the character got frozen and didn't act, and the turn goes to the next one. Not answering in these 48 hours will ultimately be penalised, you can avoid this penalty by explaining why you didn't or couldn't answer.

ANSWERING TWICE IS FORBIDDEN:
You cannot hog all the Quest and post all the time, you have to let the others participate too so they can apport their ideas and actions. There are three exception to this rule:
1) Doing an action: If you write how you do an action and then do a dice roll you can after the dice roll write another message describing how well or bad you do your action.
2) If only two people are participating on a Quest and the other one doesn't answers in 48 hours then the other one can write again.
3) In Solitary Quests you are the only one who participates, not counting Moderators. In these case you can freely post more than once. In these kind of quests if you don't participate in 48 hours you will receive a private message remembering you to write. If the message is ignored and the player continues without writing and no explanation is given then the Quest will be closed and considered Failed, with a penalty in reputation. If this happens a second time then the player will be banned.
